Your source & ranges

Choose a video from this device, or drop one here.
Source position 00:00:00 · 30 fps
Start with a short MP4. Desktop Chrome or Edge is the first test target.
Mark your moment
—Mark a Start and End above, then add the range. Ranges join in source order with straight cuts.
This saves your Start and End times. Click Edit options on a saved range for its own speed, zoom and crop. You can return and change these before Create video.
Select a video to set your boundaries.
03 · CHOOSE YOUR OUTPUT
Output choices
Single trim creates one MP4. Choose Multiple trim beside the source to join ranges or save them as separate files.
Files & transitions
Every output option includes its first file; each additional file adds 1 token. ZIP packaging and repeat downloads add no charge. Straight cuts are included. Each picture dissolve adds 1 token; its audio crossfade adds no further charge. Remove audio is charged once per export, including a batch of separate clips.
Finish your output
Optional fades for this output. Each picture fade uses its catalog price; audio fading is included. Stopwatch: free. Duration stays unchanged.

Checking the new clip…
Your checkbox answers and their wording are recorded with this edit when you check or uncheck them. An unchecked box means you have not confirmed that item. Saving uses your browser’s download location; confirm the saved file in Finder.
Privacy & processing
My Better Clips re-encodes the selected interval locally using FFmpeg WebAssembly. It creates a new MP4; it does not change your source. Exact boundaries may round to the source video’s frame intervals. Speed changes are optional; output duration is shown before creating. Timecode uses a fixed 30-frame-per-second scale (frames 00–29); other source frame rates may round to their actual frame boundaries.
No analytics or media upload is included. Accounts store your email, password hash, credit balance and purchase references. Payment details are entered on Stripe or PayPal; this site does not store card numbers. Test credits and live credits are separate. Payment and credit records, including your account email and transaction references, may also be copied to our Google Sheets business log. Completed edits and your four verification checkbox answers, including their wording and timestamps, are recorded in our private database and Google Sheets editing log. Free sandbox edits appear in account activity at zero tokens. All new edits are linked to the signed-in account. These are customer confirmations, not independent proof that a downloaded file was opened. Selected title/banner text, requested fonts, line colors/widths, placement/timing settings and optional logo/watermark SHA-256 fingerprints, dimensions and side are also recorded with the edit. Logo, watermark and second-video bytes remain on your device. Per-range speed, zoom and crop settings are also recorded. Orientation/stack settings and a second-video fingerprint, dimensions and chosen timing are also recorded. Safe-area guides are preview-only suggestions. Passwords, fonts and media are never sent to that log. Session cookies keep you signed in. Sign-in is required for every clip, including the free stopwatch. The site host handles normal page access. Only the application, processing engine and optional sample video are downloaded. Closing the tab clears its working media from memory; downloaded clips remain on your device.
Uses ffmpeg.wasm (MIT) and FFmpeg core with libx264 (GPL). Engine versions, licenses and source.
Help
Choose your own local video or try the free stopwatch sandbox. Set Start and End as MM:SS:FF; the arrow buttons move one frame at a time. Set start and Set end confirm the adjacent values. Preview, create and save a separate MP4. Your source stays unchanged.
Start with a short selection in desktop Edge or Chrome. Keep this tab open while processing. If processing fails, cancel and try a shorter clip. The built-in stopwatch always uses zero tokens; personal-video prices and your balance are shown before you create a clip.
